I'm baaaaack.
I will catch you up over the past number of months, but first, this week.
This week, my handsome son Max turned 20. 2. 0. How did this happen?
I am incredibly proud of him, he is a compassionate, very hard working, incredibly intelligent man. I just don't know if there are enough words to properly express how much I love and admire him.

This week was also my mother's (Pat) birthday. I think she's 70 this year, but I don't know for sure. I have a girlfriend who describes Pat as the egg donor, Jean as my Mom. Having said this I think you understand there is no relationship between my mother (Pat) and I.
We've tried, it failed. Over and over and over again. My last attempt was a number of years ago, I called my sister to wish her a happy birthday and it just got ugly. They ended up dragging my Grandma into it all. Ug.Ly.
So, I honour her day by saying a prayer for her, and then it passes.
The other big thing in this week was my oncology appointment. It seems all is well, I am getting better and better every day/week. My symptoms are getting less frequent.
And I am getting another oncologist. If you are keeping track--this next appointment will be my 4th oncologist since this all started.
I think a study should be done by the BCCA of the fall out and stress for patients when they don't see the same person consistently.
Rant. Over.
I am thankful I am healthy, I have healthy kids, Kent is healthy and we are doing ok.
Onto the next post.
