Not fully knowing what 2017 would bring for us, I decided to do a little planning and preparation.
For Christmas I got Kent, 11 dates in 2017. Pre-planned, pre-purchased, pre-organized dates.
January's date was a weekend getaway to Tofino. It's storm watching season, so I felt what better than to rip out of town for a couple days with our wellies and watch the stormy water and sky. It might actually make us feel like we're in Scotland, because, let's face it, it's all about being in Scotland.
Sigh. I just want to live in Scotland with a wee farm with my hubby.
Back to reality, Tofino.
We had a great weekend away, the Tin Wis in Tofino upgraded us, I guess there weren't that many people there that weekend.
We went to every beach, Radar Hill, we hiked, talked, played we had a rest-filled time away.
We travelled up on Saturday--forgoing the traffic on Friday night. It made for an already relaxing start to the weekend.
