Melissa and Jon left in the morning for Liverpool. I was pretty bummed about them leaving, but we had planned this because we are a healthy family and time apart is a good thing!
Kent, Max and I went for lunch and then Max left for Glasgow. Kent and I were the last to leave for Berwick-Upon-Tweed.
Kent and I were looking for a quiet place, seaside for a couple days. We were not disappointed!
We're here!
What we found out right away is, although it's Berwick-Upon-Tweed the locals refer to it as Berwick. The accent here is really different than anything we'd heard so far, in fact, it was probably the toughest area for us to understand the locals. Berwick was pronounced Bear-ick.
The Rob Roy Inn: Don't let this unassuming front fool you, it's gorgeous inside. The hosts were amazing. I think this was my favourite places to eat on this holiday.
View from our hotel room, yet another cemetery!
We arrived late, got to our room and headed downstairs for dinner. It was a really relaxing day and evening.
